With the current uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are committed to the health and wellbeing of our entire extended family which not only includes our employees and their families but also our clients, tenants and vendors across all of our business platforms here at MacLaughlin and Company.
Therefore, for the time being, we will be limiting access to our office in order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Rent payments can continue to be mailed to 1401 Shore Street or dropped in the mail slot of our office door. Only checks, cashier checks and money orders will be accepted at this time and please ensure that the appropriate unit address is listed on the checks. Cash payments will not be accepted. Notices about this temporary protocol will be posted outside our front door.
To our clients, tenants and vendors: we want you to know that our team has the ability to work remotely in a secure technology environment protecting your sensitive information and are prepared to continue overseeing the day to day operations of all our properties through this crisis. This includes our maintenance department who will remain on call to assist with tenant needs as they arise. If you are in need of any of our services, please call or email your property or account manager. We are all making every effort in keeping the services we provide as seamless and safe as possible for everyone involved and ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to monitor and adapt to the changing situation.
Our senior leadership remains vigilant and committed to complying with public health guidance, ready to respond rapidly as conditions evolve. We value the face to face time with our clients, tenants and vendors and, by working together, we can all do our part in navigating this time until we are able to get our businesses back to normal. These unprecedented and challenging times may have forced these precautionary measures but we encourage all of you to, above all else, take the steps necessary to keep your unit and employees safe as we do the same.
